As Roger Waters would say: We are just a bunch of lunatics. No, really! We are a team of two professional musicians: Marc Girard and Bruno Coulombe. We are located in Canada, province of Quebec, Montreal City. (Yes, where the "Wall" concept was born!)

About Bruno Coulombe

Bruno Coulombe is a professional guitar player. He's been in the business for 10 years and played with various artists. His first love: electric guitars. Bruno provides lush, spacious sound scapes and tasteful tones. None of the less, he also can play the acoustic guitar very good too.

About Marc Girard

Marc Girard is a professional sound engineer and musician. He works freelance and mixed several known local artists. His passions always been music and computers. Marc started his career in 1998 after graduating from the Musitechnic college.

Why do you ask? The answer is rather simple: because we can! We've always loved Floyd! No, wait, there's more...

The whole project started almost as a joke. A friend wanted to have a CD with Bruno playing Comfortably Numb. Bruno had loyal fans back in the bar days, his band played Numb almost every night. Bruno came to Marc one day and asked if he could engineer the thing fast and burn a CD. The original plan was to use a General MIDI file and record the guitar solos on top...

After working a little bit on the thing, we said to ourselves: well, the synth bass sounds pretty much like crap, why don't we redo the bass with a real one? And so we did.... Same happened with the acoustic guitars: the synth sounded so bad, we had to re-record them with Bruno's Larrivée.

In the end, we re-recorded all the instruments, re-programmed almost all the MIDI parts and we sang the lyrics. As the project advanced, we realized that Numb was way more complicated than it looked at the start, but we were on a roll and we wanted the song to sound good.

When all the instruments and arrangements were done, we had 64 tracks! So much for a "small project". A few days of mixing and updates were needed, the arrangements in Numb are so complex, the mix turned out to be no easy task. Fortunatly, we're happy with the result.

We used lots of toys and gizmos during the recording of this "little" project, here's a list of what we can actualy remember:

How long did you guys take?

WAY too long! (Around 2 months, part time)

Can I e-mail you my comments, flames or feelings?

Yes, we'd love to hear from you, write to us by clicking right here.

Eh, dude, the end solo is not exactly the same!

Yes, we know! We took some liberties! There's also an electric guitar in the 2nd verse which we added for more grunge!

You guys are nuts?

Yes!

Who's the best, Waters or Gilmour?

WE FINALLY FOUND OUT! But it would take us so long to explain... (*Grin*)

Why don't you guys record your own music?

We are! We're planning an album, we've got a few demos down...

Where's your own web site?

Right here.

Bruno and Marc first would like to thank Roger Waters, David Gilmour, Rick Wright and Nick Masson for their incredible music. Those guys influenced and contributed to the music scene in so many ways, we can hardly imagine what it would've been without them. They are visionnaries to us (and many other fans, we're sure).

Mixed and Recorded at Studio Fast Forward, many thanks to Barney Beninger for letting us use the "B" Room.

Thanks to Rob Heaney for all those great guitar pedals and his deep knowledge! Thanks for showing us a few Jedi Tricks!

Thanks to Serge Rodrigue for the UA 2-1176 and the Royer Microphone, you're a champ!

Thanks to Clode Hamelin for the Neumann Microphone, it sounds really good.

Thanks to Bjorn Riis at Gilmourish.com for giving us heads-up on David Gilmour's rig.

And finally, thanks to all of our friends and family for continuous support over the years.
